Cliff just wrapped the Hillside Strangler film, directed by Chris Fisher. Cliff plays the strangler, Kenneth Bianchi.

NEW PICTURES...
As you can see.. I haven't been around in a long while. Its a long story. I didn't forget about this site! Personal life issues (as usual) got in the way... to add to them - I recently moved and I've been having some issues setting up the computer and internet right now. I'm on a friend's comp because I wanted to finally ADD THE NEW PICTURES that Cliff and his friend sent me a month ago. I apologize to everyone for it taking so long to get these up!! Please please check out the PICTURES section and hopefully my comp will be set up soon so I can finally do some more updating here :)

May.08/2001: Traffic will be available to rent on video (and purchase on DVD) on Tuesday May.29th. the Replacement Killers will also be shown on TBS on May.13


April.21/2001: As you'll notice, a big massive site make-over has been done. I was getting tired of the old design. A film guide is also in the works, listing info and more on each of his films. Work is still being done on the site, as you'll notice in some sections that are still under construction. so check back for more in the near future. tanx

April.09/2001: Check out the Screen Actors Guild website for photos of the even that took place last month - Cliff was in attendace as he and his fellow Traffic castmates were nominated for "Outstanding cast in a Motion Picture".. and yes, they won! A big congratulations to Cliff and the cast on the award.


March.25/2001:
Well yee haw. Traffic won 4 of the 5 Academy Awards it was nominated for on the weekend - Best Editing, Best Supporting Actor (Benicio Del Toro), Best Screenplay (Stephan Gaghan), and Best Director (Stephen Soderbergh).

-He's on a roll... Clifton just recently landed a role in The Castle. A film co-starring Robert Redford, and produced by George Clooney. Filming will begin near the end of March in Nashville, and is due out in theaters on Christmas Day 2001.
Dec.2000 News

- Great news! Clifton's upcoming film, Traffic, which he shot earlier this year, has been nominated for 5 Golden Globes, including Best Picture and Best Director- Stephen Soderbergh. Traffic will open in theaters in New York and L.A on Dec.27, and nationwide on January, 12 (this includes the UK)

    - Price of Glory is available to rent on video

    - Another film of Clifton's which got great reviews (and an excellent response at the Toronto Film Festival in September) was Joel Schumacher's Tigerland.

    Older News..

    - Tigerland will be one of the many films showing at this years Toronto International Film Festival. For those planning on attending, Tigerland will premiere on Wednesday Sept.13th at 7pm at the Elgin Theatre (which is on the corner of Yonge & Queen). Tickets are around $12 and can be purchased now, on the day of the film, or by standing in the rush line if the film is sold out (the Elgin is pretty big though, so its usually easy to get tickets).
    (webmistress' note: I still haven't found out if Cliff will be in attendace, but since I live in Toronto and am working at the festival again this year, I'll be down there for sure. If you're planning on going, let me know!)


    - Finished shooting Tigerland, Clifton is now busy shooting Traffic. Amongst his co-stars are, Michael Douglas, Catherine Zeta Jones, Topher Grace, James Brolin, Dennis Quaid, Don Cheadle, Luis Guzman, Benicio Del Toro, and last but not least, Clifton's good friend Jacob Vargas. The film's director is, Steven Soderbergh. If the name rings a bell, it should. Some of his credits include, King of the Hill, Sex Lies and Videotape, The Limey, Out Of Sight, and most recently, Erin Brockovich.

    - Price Of Glory is still lurking around in theaters, and you can buy The Wonderful Ice Cream Suit now from Amazon.com

    - Clifton is down in Florida right now shooting the new Joel Schumacher film, Tigerland.

    - It aired back in Novemeber, but Clifton was in an episode of Martial Law, entitled, "The Friendly Skies". If you ever catch the re-run, the episode also guest-starred Dave Navarro, Bret Micheals, Jon Dough, David Silvera, and Rick Springfield

    - Light It Up will now be out in theaters on Nov. 05/1999. Clifton will be in New York in the next few days doing a press junket on it. Also, the trailer for the movie has been spotted already, so keep an eye out for it!

    - Clifton will be starting an independent film that his friend Jacob Vargas is producing. It will star Clifton, Jacob, and Greg Serano.


    - Still keepin busy, Clifton is set to co-star with Jimmy Smits and Jon Seda in New Line Cinema's Price Of Glory. The film should start shooting in May in Los Angeles. Until then, he will be [boxing] training with Benny "the Jet" Urquidez- an old school martial artist undefeated champion. This will prepare Clifton for his role in the movie - as one of the sons in a family of boxers, who the father (Smits) trains.

    - Clifton recently finished shooting a movie for 20th Century Fox entitled, Light it Up with Vanessa Williams, Forest Whitaker, Sara Gilbert, Usher, Judd Nelson, Fredro, amongst others..... Pictures will be coming soon

    - The Defenders was first shown on Oct.25th on Showtime (for all you lucky Americans). It also stars Beau Bridges, and Jeremy London. It's the movie Clifton did here in Toronto in April. If anyone has seen it, please tell me how it turned out!

    - Clifton is in the magazines, Venice (Feb.98 w/Robert Duvall on the cover), and Smoke (Spring 98 w/Samuel L. Jackson on the cover). For more info check out their websites - [Venice] [Smoke]
    - He will also be in a movie entitled The Wonderful Ice Cream Suit, which has appeared at several film festivals so far this year
