Vonda Shepard @ House of Blues, Nov. 18, 2000
by Buffy

Well after enduring a not so good dinner and watching a horrible opening act. This man who opened thought he was so sexy gyrating his hips all over the place....I think Amy and I were just eager to see Robert and didn't want to waste our time standing in the front row watching this guy.

Vonda came on and sang some songs. She really has a beautiful voice and awesome stage presence. She introduce Robert. He came out wearing a black blazer with a blue shirt and black pants. He had on a black hat and a pair of thin black rimmed glasses. A nervous Robert starting singing "With or Without You" by U2. He crossed his arms around his chest and sang. Then he danced around a little bit. It was awesome...my eyes were bugging out of my head and my tongue had dropped to the floor. I was engulfed in Robert's every word singing right along. He wasn't even 10 feet away from Amy and I. He is a good singer too!!
Robert only did one song. Then for the finale Vonda sang "I've Been Searching My Soul" the opening song for Ally Mcbeal. Calista Flockheart and Portia de Rossi came out and sang and danced around with here. Ally had on a grey t-shirt and some jeans. Portia wore a leather brown skirt a black trenchcoat type jacket a black and white shirt and some fishnet stockings with some boots. They both looked really cute out there dancing. They are both tiny. But not by any means unhealthy. I saw Calista and she looks ok. I think the tv actually makes her look thinner. I don't know how that is because the camera adds weight. Robert looked really good too!!!

Well that is my report. I am so glad I got to go with Amy we had a great time and hopefully well get to go out again together in search of Robert Downey Jr.

Take care everyone,
Buffy
