Downey Demonstration at 'Black & White' Premiere [April 4th, 2000]

I went yesterday to the NY demo and it was wonderful, I got to meet Allyson
Downey, she's wonderful. She told me that Robert told her to thank us all
for all that we are doing for him. I was so excited. I got interviewed by
ET and asked to give Robert a birthday wish, but I
stuttered so I might not turn out on TV =(
Anyway, Allyson got interviewed
and Moogy, Also Laura. We were interviewed by inside edition and ET and
reporters from German TV (I think) also we got our
picture taken by every single reporter that was there taking pics
for the premiere. It was sooooooo exciting everything. I had made copies
of Chris's information and the one from Jacqueline and we ran
out of flyers, people were actualy coming to us and asking us for info
there were no flyers in the floor at the end and that is a big deal.
It means people were interested. =)
Colleen was there with her son, she traveled all the way from Virginia for
the demo, she is wonderful.
It was great to be able to meet Colleen, Laura, Moogy, Dorit and
Allyson!!
We even met a girl who said she wanted to join the list!!
When I was standing there chanting REHAB NOT PRISON FOR ROBERT DOWNEY JR! or
BEING SICK IS NOT A CRIME WHY IS DOWNEY DOING TIME! and many more, I began
to think on how far we have gone. I started thinking back on the first time
I saw RDJ in a movie, I was 11 (I'm now 25)
and I would have never imagined that I was going to be doing so much,
also when I joined this list in 1997 I never imagined that it would grow so
much and do so many wonderful things for Robert.
I'm so excited...
